Almost Lasagna

Almost Lasagna

2 large zucchini sliced
1lb cooked meat (I used 1/2 Italian turkey and 1/2 lean Italian sausage)
8 basil leaves (optional)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 slices cup portabella mushrooms
2 cups marinara (I make my own sugar free)
Layer 1/3 sauce, 1/3 of the zucchini, mushrooms, meat, remaining sauce, 1/2 cheese, 1/2 basil chopped, remaining zucchini, remaining sauce and remaining cheese, top with remaining torn basil

Bake at 400 degrees 45 minutes until bubbly

    The Almost Lasagna is really high in carbs. Per serving my macros worked out as: Protein 31.3g/Fat 29.3 grams/ Carbs 13.1 grams.

      Macros will differ depending on specific weight of ingredients used. Large zucchini is not specific. Also, some people prefer to save carbs for specific meals. Always weigh and track for your meal with your personal macros.
