Dale’s Taco Salad
2 tbl dried onion flakes (Aust tbl 20ml) OR 2 caramelised brown onions
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp hot paprika
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp chipotle chilli powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 cups bone broth and 2 tsp beef stock powder
1/2 cup tomato paste
1kg (2.2lb) shredded — beef, pork or chicken
Combine all dry ingredients. Stir tomato paste into water with stock. Mix in dry ingredients, then add water/tomato paste mix. Stir well. Cook in slow cooker for 7–12 hours. Makes 5-6 meals.
