Steak and Lettuce Wraps

Another “Keep It Simple” type of “recipe”

==== Steak & Lettuce Wraps ====

2 flat iron steaks (or preferred cut)
seasoning blend (to taste)
1/4 cup shredded cheese
iceberg lettuce leaves

Step 1
Season the steak and griddle or fry to preferred temperature.
Step 2
Slice the steak and place in two piles on baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Step 3
Cover the steak with the cheese and broil until cheese has melted.
Step 4
Load the cheese-covered steak into large lettuce leaves and serve.

The author recommended iceberg lettuce; however, my choice for lettuce wraps is either romaine or butter/bib lettuce.

I’d also choose to add guacamole, sour cream, and fresh salsa (as my macros permitted).
