Fry 1’s Shrimp Carbonara


Makes 4 servings
59.3P/37.5F/4.8C per serving

1/2 t. Dried Basil
1/2 t. Dried Oregano
6 slices Bacon, diced
1/2 c. Half & Half
8 oz. Cream cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
800g Shrimp
Salt to taste
Chopped tomato and chives for garnish

Brown bacon in skillet, remove to bowl and set aside leaving drippings in pan.

Add Shrimp, garlic, oregano and basil to pan and cook until shrimp is just pink.

Cube cream cheese and add to pan followed by half and half, parmesan and cooked bacon stirring over low heat till combined. Serve immediately. I like to garnish with chopped tomatoes (about 20g) and chives (10g maybe) adds an extra 1g carb.
